As a teenager in Guyana, I had an Indian pen pal who was a law student and part-time philatelist. He had international rare stamps and attended annual exhibitions to showcase his work, etc. He asked me to send him some of the stamps Mr. T just posted, and was interested in the Magenta stamp. We emigrated shortly after and I lost touch with him.
