Makers of ‘***rey Returns’ to file patent on the characters of Bholi Punjaban and Choocha for future spin-offs?

After the immense success of ‘Fu.krey Returns’, sequel to 2013 hit film ‘Fu.krey’, the makers of the films plan on filing patents for the marquee characters of Bholi Punjaban, Choocha, Honey, Lali and Zafar. According to reports, producers of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, are all set to copyright the characters in lieu of creating future spin-offs for each of them.

The development has been reportedly confirmed by the official spokesperson and so far the makers have already tied up with a popular comics company for the creation of a comic book, ‘Chacha Chaudhary and The Fu.krey Returns’.
