Could this be a pay back to Irfan for giving Jagdeo and clan cheap land, now that Irfan is taking the heat from SARU with 33 charges. If Irfan becomes President then he will receive immunity , and all the charges dropped.
On the other hand Irfan could be indicted for fraud before the election, then Anil will be anointed as the New presidential candidate .

When the PPP wins, they will end the mandate of SARU and initiate taking back some of those huge salary increases the Coalition top brass gave themselves.
