She refused to deposit the checks into Thomas' account and called the police to report that Thomas was attempting to deposit fraudulent checks, the complaint said.
She absolutely have no rights nor responsibilities to personally call the police for this matter.
She should have asked the person to wait while she sought assistance from a manager of the bank to review and resolve any issues -- as this person has an existing account at the bank.
