Okay. The bit about the Republicans sound like Santa coming down the chimney. But you can't beat the freebie that Basher Al Assad is giving Obama by taking on the Saudi-backed Al Qaeda elements fighting Assad.

Watch how Iran and Turkey (already in the damp) will serve America's interested in the region, along with Israel as a bulwark on the other end. That alone should bring Israel to an accommodation on the Palestinian question.
