I think the global warming is real and everywhere people will be uneasy with fossil fuel. China is already taking steps, India is well on its way and if the Dems win in 2020, get ready for a  massive drive to green tech. I think they will win so the reality is the all electric car society or water fueled cars are not but 10 years away. It is a pipe dream oil will remain the primary fuel to our economic engine.

Fossil fuel will be around for awhile, Guyana stands to benefit , hopefully the government planners use the revenue to create other industries. Guyana have lots of land focus should be on Agriculture, especially cash crops.

By the time Guyana is ready to reap any benefits from oil, fossil fuels might be a distant memory. Almost everyone is talking about the future without oil and coal. Coal is already dead. This morning I saw a bunch of coal miners from Kentucky sitting on the railroad tracks stopping the train from transporting the coal they dug from moving. The company filed for bankruptcy and the workers did not get paid. Solar and wind will be the future. America needs to corner the market and don't let China export their solar panels to the other parts of the world.
