Global warming is indeed concerning existential issue. Unfortunately its messengers are many times doing a disservice to its cause. Only today there was coverage on how the pontificators of this issue is adding to it with their own habits i.e. flying private jets to a convention to promote climate change awareness.

While oil is still sexy, it is not as powerful as it once was. But it is still powerful enough to lobby for enough support.
