That was one of my lunch spot when attending school in G/T. Opposite Shanta's was another competing business, I can't remember the name. I would have a potato ball, dhall puri with sour and wash it down with puma punch.

Don’t recall if it was opposite, but near to Shanta’s. Ice Palace had good pastries.
Ice Palace had the best hamburgers and milkshakes.
Right. Evan's for pastries and Prashad's Bakery I think it was for doughnuts.

Salt and pepper for cheese roll. And Rico’s at New Market and Thomas Streets for cupcake. Brown Betty for chicken in the ruff with a lil roll inside the box.
