Reply to "African Guyanese solutions: Getting to the underlying causes of the problem"

I had to stay focused to read through this article. Because, I know what the continuing lines will tell me. Mr. Hinds has been writing the same things for the last 20 years. I would think by now, with all the connections Mr. Hinds has with the Afro elites, he would have made some progress. He recognizes the problems in the Afro society, but these problems exists among every ethnic groups in Guyana. Over the last 20 years, if he had rolled up his sleeves and get down to work, perhaps, he would have made a difference in atleast one Afro person's life. He did not. But he continues to write of the problems.

So, here is a solution to the wants of the Afro society. This is a serious endeavor. In keeping with the labels placed upon us as Guyanese, I am an Indo. I am ready to work-not theoretics-but work in achieving some of the goals mentioned in the letter. As a Christian, it is mandated that I should do my part for the impoverished of the world. I have been contemplating joining a White-people organization to go the Ghana for 3 months to assist in setting up a trade school.

Instead, I could work with any organization in Guyana to achieve the goals Mr. Hinds have stipulated. My qualifications shouldn't be a problem. Trained at Bookers as a Machinist, Educated in Canada as a Mechanical Engineer, Managerial skills in Manufacturing Plants and a few more skills. I am seventy years and healthy.

Mr. Hinds, if u wish to get things moving, contact 1-519-888-9315. You will know what to do once the phone rings.
