Reply to "AFC bows to reduced role to secure Coalition with APNU"

The AFC is in survival mode after they saw  60% of their supporters jumped ship and swam back to the PPP. They can't go it alone in 2020 given the ostracism they're experiencing. Guyanese are tired of this regime mismanaging the economy, violating the constitution, and embezzling and much greater scale than we've ever known. AFC could not control the PNC nor influence their grassroots into pressuring the Grangers into steering the country away from the path of authoritarianism, racial bigotry, and gross corruption. The coalition have taken Guyana backwards and have our country more racially and politically polarized since the 1960s. It's time to free GECOM from APNU's control and make it independent once again. AFC is not the problem anymore since they are no longer a real force to reckon with. Their impact at the polls will be miniscule and even worse than the 4% they gathered at the last local gov't. elections.

We must call on the world to help us make GECOM a fair and unbias institution . Democracy can't grow if GECOM is under the control of the PNC>
