No doubt Pickthall and Arberry were created. They experienced births and may have or will experience death. So their opinions are only that, their opinions.

However, here is what God who was never created, not experienced birth or death said about the Qur'an.

عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ

Taught the Qur'an
