Region One woman, 65, dies from COVID

One new COVID-19 death was reported yesterday, increasing the country’s fatalities to 1,051.

In a press release, the Ministry of Health identified the latest fatality as a 65-year-old woman from Region One, who died on December 28. She was listed as fully vaccinated.

Additionally, the Ministry’s COVID-19 dashboard showed that while 87 new cases were recorded, there are now 643 active cases with 6 persons in the COVID-19 ICU.
