He may be leader of the PPP but would never win an election unless the PNC turns out to be oppressors of Indians.

When I was in Guyana for the elections, someone said "Jagdeo ah prappa fight for Indian people."

There is much fear in Guyana and the Diaspora of how the PNC had a policy of discrimination against Indians in the Burnham days.

Granger needs to be quite sensitive about that and the AFC needs to be advocating. The early signals are not encouraging so far.
