Would you act on a desire for your cousin

Me know wan rakhi brother who tek over his Rakhi sister full time.

Many moons ago when we lived in Briarwood, this Guyanese girl living in the same building came down to our apartment and tied a Rakhi on my hand. So I asked her if she knew I was muslim. She said yes but she needed an excuse to talk to me.

Isn't that what they call incest?

Forgot to add I was pissed because she was very attractive and even though I am not Hindu, I respect other peoples' religions so that was it for me.

I detest anyone who hit on someone who is a family member or directly under their control. If you want to show who's the man let's go out and see who first can pick up a chick.

Now I must add, that as Muslim, we are allowed to marry our cousins. So if you like your cousin and want to make them your spouse, that's okay!

Chief,

Where did this come from? Is it in the Koran or is this something based on tradition because it was done by the Prophet?

I have Muslim family who did this but other family members oppose it...

Only now I am revisiting this thread and sorry for the late reply.

IN the Holy Qu'ran it is clearly stated as to who can marry who and who cannot marry each other.

The prophet specifically told his followers how their women should be dressed. And also told them who dey should marry. I guess Arabians need to be told the details of life. Backward ppl.
