Would GRA and the Police take action against Glen Lall?
GLEN Lall rented an aircraft to take a photograph of logs in a log market. What did he expect to see there? Stacks of Kaieteur News! Obviously logs will be in a log market! And the GFC has shut him up by stating publicly that logs harvested are tagged etc. and the annual harvest rate is less than 40 percent.
Maybe Glen Lall would have been better advised to use the free money he makes selling trash (KN) to pay the $80 M he allegedly owes to GRA for the taxes on the 2 Lexus’, rather than paying for an aircraft to take nonsensical pictures.
Here is this man who makes big claims that he would uncover corruption wherever it is and who loves to put the spotlight on others now finding himself in the most embarrassing picture.
This is so shameful and revolting.
Glen Lall loves to accuse others publicly and these persons are often forced to go at length to defend themselves. Let’s see if he has the guts to accept his crime and accept his punishment.
Reliable sources say that the GRA officer involved was actually dismissed under the Bharrat Jagdeo Govt for another duty free scam. However, Glen Lall made representation under the Ramotar administration for him to be reinstated. Now that this scam has been exposed, it does not require much imagination to deduce why Glen Lall wanted the officer reinstated. It is to continue to facilitate tax evasion by Glen Lall. Most likely this corrupt GRA officer would have facilitated tax evasions for a footwear store connected to Lall and the recent candy factory.
The officer should also explain how it is that he owns a big fancy house and can have 2 Lexus’ registered to his address.
Also, is it a coincidence that he also is from 61 Village on the Corentyne.
Surely, this is a very juicy story for the top sleuth investigative staff at Kaieteur News and Stabroek News to elaborate on so that the public would be informed.
Finally, I note that the GRA and the police are quick to take action when the small man is exposed. I, along with the entire nation am waiting and watching to see what GRA and the Police would do against Glen Lall, the Brigemohans (remigrants) and the alleged corrupt GRA officer who it was rumoured presented Lall’s daughter with a $1M diamond ring when she passed an exam.
