Most likely, they will stick to the coalition if you look at the numbers

Yes let's assume APNU holds 100% of its current 26 seats. This means that it has to gain 7 more seats to get to 33.

The AFC currently has 3 Indo seats, 2 Amerindian seats, and 2 Black/Mixed seats.

Let's give the Coalition all 26 APNU Seats + AFC's 2 Black/Mixed Seats + 2 AFC Amerindian Seats + 2 AFC Indo Seats. That only brings them to a maximum of 32.

The Coalition cannot afford to lose 1 of the AFC's 3 Indian seats. You tell me how that is possible without resorting to wishful thinking.

There are seventy five thousand new voters mainly urbanites. There are a 120k disinterested voters mainly black. The entire 3 Indian votes would be around 15k votes. who has the better chance of winning all other things being equal.

Incorrect. That is the PNC modus operandi. Nah everthing you gone blame the PPP for.

The PPP has been declared before the courts to be frauds. They stole a seat in linden and the case never came up. Their asses and liberty is on the line so they will do anything to avoid their deserved dues.

AFC is loosing a significant part of its 2011 votes.

PPP/C will regain it votes to be above 50+ percent.

so you saying that those who previously voted AFC will now switch to PPP...and no PPP voters switching

Why will voters who voted AFC switch to PPP?

The basic issues are ...

1. AFC always stated that it is a political organisation independent of other political groups.

2. AFC has now merged fully with the PNC.

3. The influence of the AFC has diminished with the merger.

4. The election is between the PPP/C and the PNCR cum associates.

Agreed.

The PPP cannot steal a seat. GECOM had to give it to them whether they won it or not. So don't blame the PPP.  PNC had their commissioners - what did they do about it?  Were they sleeping? Gaad man, ah everthing so you ah blame the PPP fah. If someone in Guyana eat shit and die, you will blame the PPP for it. Smh

Am I missing something? Which Court made that Declaration and who was the Judge?

2.  The 10k people who voted Nagamootoo last time didn't vote for a coalition in which the PNC is a dominant party. How they will vote this time isn't anything that any one can guarantee.  Or even if they will bother to vote.

The only party which can feel confident that it will get its 2011 seats back will be APNU.  Will they win more?  We don't know.  But we also don't know what will happen to the PPP or the AFC.

Solid campaigning and grass roots organizing and a winning get out the vote operation on election day, combined with efforts by the opposition to block the PPPs attempt to rig, will determine who the winner is.

When AFC and PPP supporters scream certain victory I suggest that if they take this as anything other than spin to create an environment which will increase their chance of victory than they are being massively foolish.

That seat was being contested.  The AFC eventually stopped agitating for it, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't theirs.

Any way in 2011 they lost votes even as there was a significant increase in voter turn out.

You picked the right man.  When he ran he had an excellent campaign team.  Sound analysis of the electorate.  Campaign strategies aimed to excite the electorate.  And an aggressive get out to vote strategy.

In 2010 and 2014 the Democrats didn't have that. This is why Obama won two elections while the Democrats lost control of congress.  They can blame the loss of the House on gerrymandering, but that cannot be their excuse for loss of the Senate.

The point is that Obama didn't listen to his cultists.  He listened to his campaign team who left NOTHING unturned.

Fair or not. The PPP can is perfectly positioned to bribe at least 1 more Amerindian seat to their column.

The paths to a PPP victory are many. The Coalition has to win 100% of 2011. That is an almost impossible task to pull off.

An audio recording of President Donald Ramotar’s Aishalton meeting at which an Amerindian teacher maintains he was slapped by Presidential Guards has revealed that during his speech, President Ramotar took offence to another member of the audience interjecting to ask him about former President Bharrat Jagdeo’s record in office.

“You don’t know anything about Jagdeo; if he bin hay he might a slap yo, coz you stupid,” the President is heard telling the man at the Decemeber 03, 2014 meeting

The less young black men vote, the higher the PPP percent.

I did hear about that voter suppression act.  This is why APNU AFC have to win 55% of the votes cast in order to guarantee that they are credited with 50.1% of the votes.

Obviously the PPP/C supporters are coming out in numbers because persons are devoted to greatness. The question you should be asking is why Persons are supporting the collated party. Nobody wants to suffer like they did back when the PNC was in control of the country. The citizens wants consistency and progress and they have found that within the PPP/C Government.

You obviously mean soup lickers, and various bottom feeders not exclusive of sycophants and knee benders like yourself. The only thing great about Ramotar used to be his stomach. The doctors may take care to staple that but his head is still larger than most and primed with air. If it were progressive to loot the nation's coffers and build exclusive seaside dachas, if it were progressive to preside over total failure of all industries; it it were progressive to vend our extractive  resources for pittance to the detriment of our environment; if it were progressive to be inundated by a massive drug culture then you may have had a point. But with the PPP,  mediocrity seem to be the mean for them...never before has  our nation been so overwhelmed by so  large an assemblage of dunces and crooks as now.

Albert I know for a fact that you have been in secret talks with Nagamootoo as even you fear what will happen to you of the PPP loses.

After all soup lickers never go down with sinking ships, and they always have a plan B when they know that plan A is looking a little uncertain.

In fact Nagamootoo is currently looking at the resumes of many PPP folks, who trust that he will be discrete about their intentions until after May 20th, when the PPP will be forced to release the results.

Listen albert APNU AFC have been in touch with the folks in St Kitts, who also had to dethrone an elected dictator.  As in Guyana, all the opposition parties united in this task.

In fact the GYC even has an online ad where a St Kitts girl is telling Guyanese all the things that the youth in that nation had to do to rid themselves of a dictator who was every bit as nasty, vindictive and violent as Jagdeo (the real boss we now see) is.

the clock is ticking. Tick tock tick tock. I have never seen the excitement to rid Guyana of the PPP in any election since 1992 as much as I see it now. It is no longer black vs. Indian.  It is now Guyana vs. PPP.

All you need to do is to check the political affiliations of the posters on GNI. Almost all were PPP.  Now only ignoramuses and racists like Nehru, cobra, yuji, and a few others are.  The vast majority of the posters are Indians.

Referring to the PNCR/AFC?

PPP folks like you are usually too glad to scream how poor PNCR/AFC are, so obviously they have no soup to give out.

This means that the thousands who are showing up to their meetings are there because they want to be.

I mean even 3 years ago Granger wouldn't have dared go to Richmond Hill to speak to people and RAISE cash!  Yet he did so and only 15 protestors, some dragged out of rumshops, roaring drunk, booed him.

Did the PPP come to the aid of a native woman that was brutalized by the PPP enforcers trying to get their land for a multinational? After viewing this video, Ramotar said it was an alleged beating

What did he say when he heard this conversation by the attorney general...about wanting to pass a reporter off to his old ugly uncle   because he thinks he can

The PPP pays lip service to woman. The sexual offense act still languishes on the Presidents desk and we have an epidemic of rapes and domestic abuse. 34 women were murdered by their spouses in very violent ways last year.
