Watched the debates.

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Those who support Hillary will claim victory and likewise for Trump supporters.

With such close election and poll numbers, Hillary was supposed to knock this one out of the park. She failed to do so.

The poll numbers in the next week or so will tells us the truth. Forget about the liberal media spin doctors. Let the poll numbers come in and then we can all have a chat.

The moderator was as left wing as left can get, he failed to ask Hillary ONE single tough question, how about asking her about deleting 33,000 emails ?

Bring it on !!!!! Go Trump go !!!

Lester Holt was a soft spoken man, who didn't cave to Trump the way that Lauer did. He has a brain and he actually does his research.

Lauer is an ageing "pretty boy" with a balding head and fading looks, but the housewives who swooned over him still live in his past glory.  The man knows no more US politics than a 5 year old, so can only rattle off questions that the marketing department at NBC (fearful of losing ad revenues) gave him to ask.

Any one who wants to know how Hitler won the election in Germany need only look to see how Trump operates.  Same tactics of fooling the white working class by finding a scape goat.  It was the Jews under Hitler and now its any one with swarthy skin and jet black hair (Mexicans and Middle Eastern Muslims).

yuji22, I watched the debate too, out of curiosity, as an observer. IMO, Hillary Clinton was sharp and in good shape and form throughout. Donald Trump was sharp too, but mostly lackluster and unconvincing.

Gil,

Your analysis is accurate.

Hillary was like a prepared and scripted (Teletubby) politician.

Trump was unconventional and did lack substance in some instances,  just different styles. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Actual poll numbers in a week or so will paint the most accurate picture. This race is still very tight. As Big Boss Amral said, it ain't over till the fat lady sings in November.

The moderator threw softball questions at Hillary. The next debate will be quite the opposite in terms of tough questions. In a way, the moderator appeared bias with his questions. He was not in any way neutral with his questions.

As Rush (Right Wing Announcer) said, Trump appealed to his base.

Remember this, the Demoracts are not as motivated as they did when they voted for President Obama and African Americans seems disinterested in this race. Carib has mentioned this fact in many instances. Hillary needs to bring the African American base back to the democratic party.

I am waiting for the fat lady to sing in November. It is for the Orange Rangatan or Teletubby Hillary to win.

Many white folks are silently supporting Trump, they will twist their noses and still vote for Trump. I overheard quite a few conversations like this during my last visit to NYC.

" Romney beat President Obama by 17 percentage points among white voters. To win, Trump would need to improve on Romney’s margin by a minimum of 5 percentage points if the electorate looked exactly the same as it did in 2012 and every other racial group voted in the same manner as it did in 2012."

If white folks could not get Romney elected, what makes you think they will get Trump elected?

Plus, the electorate has changed from 2012, lots more minorities are registered now vs 2012...

The moderator asked the same questions of both.  His FOLLOW up questions directed to Trump was based on fact checking.  Trump lies and its good to see that this moderator tried his best not to be intimidated by the Frat Boy Bully, as so many others were.

It is the 5% swing voters in FL, VA, PA, OH, WI, and CO who will determine the election.  Trump's bully boy style appeals to his base, which is insufficient for him to win.  Evidence is that his bullying style angered many women, and more women vote than men.

Now I know that you all dwell on the notion of the white racist.  You all screamed that Obama, a weak president in 2012, as the economy was still quite soft, would lose.  Well a president, who should have lost won.

Many GOP are now worried about the embarrassing prospect of a Trump win, and how his behavior will damage the GOP.  More than you think will silently follow the Bush family and support Trump.

I suggest that you look at the pic with Bush and Michelle and see that there is some love there.  I can say many things about Bush, but what is not true is that he is a racist.  And there are many whites like him.

Yuji never back peddles. I am the type of person who goes down with the ship, I do not jump ship.

Ban dem food carts, the smell was quite offensive as I walked the streets of NYC last weekend.

I did enjoy meeting Guyanese last weekend and drinking freshly squeezed cane juice at Liberty and 24st (I hope that the 24 is correct). The fresh coconut water and jelly was also enjoyable. Best five bucks anyone can spend.

Trump will develop Little Guyana, Guyanese need Trump.

What has Obama and the Democrats done for Little Guyana in the past ten years ? The roads are bad, the sanitation leaves little to be desired. They collect hundred of millions in taxes from Guyanese and have nothing to show in return.

"For Donald Trump to win the presidency there is one thing he absolutely must do. He must outperform Republican Mitt Romney's 2012 numbers in some key demographic group.

Four years ago Romney lost the presidential race to Barack Obama. Meeting Romney's margins with white voters, or African-Americans or Hispanics won't do it for Trump. The GOP nominee has to do better and the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll says he is not - at least not yet.

The latest NBC/WSJ poll shows that across the three main racial/ethnic groups in the electorate - whites, African-Americans and Hispanics - Trump is not getting the numbers he needs."

I do not disagree with anything that you mention but the silent white voters might just show up and vote.

Hillary has not motivated the Democrats and African Americans  like President Obama did when he ran for Presidency.

It should be troubling for her with the polls so tight. We will know for sure in two weeks, as more accurate poll numbers continue to come in.
