As I said, rightly or wrongly, that is a tax code issue, not a Donald Trump issue. He has very smart tax guys to navigate the tax codes legally and minimize his taxes. Trump said he will close the loopholes which may result in him paying more taxes, and that's just fine.

Trump's father started him off, used his influence in political circles to help grease palms, get him tax breaks, etc. Do you think that lil Babulall from Astoria with his striving construction company can get those tax abatements. Apple did not get tax abatements. The US, to encourage technology, gave all corporations accelerated depreciation, etc. for tech products. What you're talking about is Apple does its accounting and legal institutions (like its HQ) in such a way as to reduce its liabilities. That's not what Trump does and that's why he proudly claims he gets audited every year.
