We know the number by using census to identify population density and self reporting based on other metrics. Large data scavengers are everywhere collecting demographic data for hundreds of different reasons and these are used to generate data of all sorts. But the Census is where every data set about population normalization occurs.  Every reliable measure of Muslims is around 3.5 and for jews about 6 million. Muslims and jews are in a constant spat about these numbers and there are hundreds of studies examining the various claims.

I am not voting for a presidential candidate this year. I will be voting down ballot. I will not be voting for Keith Ellison either, a democrat.

Why are you not voting for Rep Keith Ellison? Did he not do a good Job as your representative?

I heard you voting republican this year, Chief. The last time I voted, I saw a lot of folks from Al Abidin voted republican. Are you afraid to come out of the closet and say that you supported Trump?

You heard correct, the entire 7 million American Muslims are voting for Trump.

There are only about 3.5 million muslims in the US and they are not expected to double until about 2050

Tell that to Bigly, and let him know that you count them all by yourself.

Why is the US census good for everyone else and not for you?..

You are incorrect.

Dude you are empty as a paint can. Everything has to do with a percentage of the census. One takes information from the public and normalizes it against what is known finitely with the census as a control. Any number will always be a percentage of the census data. Everyone doing demographic data uses the census. One normalizes immigration data and other to extrapolate population measures. Every population data from any reliable source of such data gives the number I posted.

Again you talking a pile of $h!t.  There is no census figure as you claim

I guess so...you are the one saying the US blew up their own trade center to start a war with Muslims. Now I am talking "shit" because I am correcting on what is a definitive population number anyone can check for themselves.  I do not have to argue with you. Census is the reference point for populatin data. It does not have data on who are democrats or republicans but we use it to give population data for any place to be combined with other data to get accurate count. Suck on that idiot.

It is not a census question so you talking out of your A$$.

Your guess is as good as mine and I really don't care what the number actually is, I am just showing you that most of what you say is crap.

Jackass...every population demographic reflects on the census if you are to locate what you seek in the data.

The PEW used immigration combined with other metrics and census to posit a value to the Muslim population density. Without Census data it is meaningless.

I guess you will jabber that Muslims have a more accurate metric for estimating their population. Every state has an estimate and they do it exactly like the PEW

So today's Kutbah at the Mosque, the Imaam  ENCOURAGED   that we Muslims must go out and VOTE , all 7 million of us.

H e gave the story of  Pharaoh , who was a very wicked person and reminded us that it is important to vote.

You have less than two million voters....is that not the point the jews were making when this controversy appeared in 2000?

Again, you are a bloody dunce trying to sell the wrong data for religious propaganda reasons when it is false. Secondly, no data about local populations can be valid if they do not concur with numbers presented by the census. You cannot say x number of muslims reside at a particular place and expect others to accept it if the data does not concur with census findings.

All demographic conclusions, be they about voting, number of car owners, people who practice yoga in any specific place needs census data about the place to create a meaningful number. One can say thaer are 10 yoga teachers in a particular town. It has no meaning except if one knows there are a hundred people living there or there is a thousand. The number mentioned is always a reflection of a percentage of the population for it  to be meaningful and the Census data is always the control here.

That there are claims to there being 7 million muslims has value only because it means they are two percent of the population and on that account have tremendous political clout. That is why some muslims sell that false data. To many muslims, the religion is all about the numbers...conversions...mosques etc. That has meaning. However this seven million number being sold is swill.

THE NUMBERS DID NOT COME FROMT THE CENSUS AS YOU CLAIMED.  YOU BLOWING HOT AIR.

BTW, did you see me giving a number or estimate?  The answer is I dont know but you have converted an estimate to a known fact to suit your narrative.

What study will be used to get your number, a muslim fits into just about every demographic it is not based on immigration or ethnicity

Thats why I call you a p0ke in true Chief style.

Your reading into what I said and obsessive fixation on that as supposed refutation is your problem not mine. I am very competent with statistics and actually worked in it.

The PEW used immigration data as well as other big data models to get their number and a Muslim Scholar headed that study. These days, Google alone has huge data sets from which statisticians can use to determine with exactitude many thing and population demographics is the least of it.

You are wasting bandwith and my time arguing about something that you stared which is false.  You insisted that there are 3.5 million muslims in American based on the census when there was no such figure from the census.

I dont know how much there or care to know how much there are.

However, if you look at countries such as Canada and UK etc. and extrapolate as you claim to be an expert on, you may find that chiefs no is more plausible but is not fact since is based on a comparison, not the census.
