No, I don't think the Accord is flawed because of the section about Moses chairing Cabinet.

I don't see what could possibly prevent the President from being Minuted as being "in the chair" and the PM de facto chairing Cabinet sessions.

I just doan buy this excuse.

Well you clearly do not know Granger Shiatan - the man is in charge.  Understand.

When Yesu Persaud was in his hay days, you think Komal Samaroo could have chaired the Board meeting while he in the room?

People who take their role seriously do not outsource it, especially when they have the law on their side.

Again you're missing my point. I don't care that Granger is chairing Cabinet.

It looks bad that this was conceded to Moses just weeks ago and now it's being taken away. They should have never put this in the Accord if it was never going to be honored.

All of this stuff cumulatively demeans Moses in the eyes of people. It rightly or wrongly creates the impression that Moses is being used as another Sam Hinds. Optics dude. Optics.

Optics my ass.  This is real politiks now.

There is so much work to do, who give a crap about optics.

All hand on deck to clean up the mess and His Excellency the Prime Minister Hon. Moses Nagamootoo is so busy especially helping his Agriculture Minister clean up the mess in the rice and sugar industry that he truely does not need a portfolio.

Moses will be focused with Nigel on Consitutional reform.

Look, the darn document was badly constructed in law.

Did Granger get demoted? Or do we have two Excellencies now?

His Excellency the President the HON. David Granger.

This is childish. But don't you think that you're in Coalition and it looks disrespectful for you to elevate the subordinate to equal or superior billing?

Guyana has one Excellency within Guyana....President Granger. Moses is styles "Honorable." As a courtesy in foreign protocol outside of Guyana, Excellency may be used by a foreign government to refer to Moses. That is the protocol.

You might be right Shaitaan on one point here that there may only be ONE EXCELLENCY.

His Honourable the Prime Minister Hon Moses Nagamootoo.  How that sound?

The Honourable Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo.

"His Honour" is usually reserved for addressing the Speaker of the National Assembly.

Correction....The Catholic Bishop is also styled "His Excellency" in Guyana. I don't know about the Anglican Bishop. He might be a "His Grace"

AFC/APNU business is all our business chap. They are the Government and are accountable to all aweh/abbe.

I wish them success. Have you seen me distance myself from the PPP official line being pushed by Snake and Alunatic?

This is the only reason I followed Mukraj down this rabbit hole about forms of address. Why is it so hard for Indian to just not pronounce on a factual matter of which he is not expected to know? And instead of deferring to someone who is certain by training, he just substitutes a guess in place of actual knowledge?

Did you read carefully? Moses is NOT addressed as "His Excellency" in Guyanese protocol. In foreign protocol followed by international organizations and other countries, "Excellency" would be accorded to him as a courtesy under their usage. But only as a courtesy alien to Guyanese state protocol.

you are a sworn enemy of racial healing and APNU/AFC "chap" . . . u most certainly do not wish them success

any "interest" of yours in intra-coalition bizness is purely destructive

u remain a vector of division and mistrust, a peddler of fake humiliation narratives and race hate in service to Jagdeo and the aborning Guyana Hindutva party, formerly the communist PPP
