According to this lady, the Homo movement fuels sodomite crimes in Guyana.  I think she has hit the nail on its head.

Show you care: During campaigning this topic should not bring up the rear

DEAR EDITOR,
Unless I am taking a blind view of the moral mayhem in Guyana, it is now apparent to even the most laconic or sententious that sodomy with young children has become the new sexual craze. The odour emanating from this cauldron of moral turpitude beggars swift intervention and the institution of punitive measures severe enough to serve as an eternal deterrent to future offenders.
The recent discovery of the partly decomposed body of Shaquan Gittens, compounded by the fact that not only was he bound, had his genitals severed but was also sodomized, would cause any parent to become the instant victim of loss of sanity, amidst swirling homicidal urges and ruminations.
The conduct of the perpetrator shocked the public conscience, as not only was it inherently base, depraved and running against the rules of morality, but also the duties owed between Man and society.
Thankfully the suspect in the case of Shaquan Gittens was sought and quickly arrested, with a confession of sort being thrown in for good measure. Sadly, the suspect has been deemed to be mentally ill, and by extension, perhaps mentally incompetent to stand trial.
Sharing similar ignominy are the two yet to be solved murders that took place in Sophia in 2006 and 2010, of 13-year-old Letroy Harris and 7-year-old Dacwaun Sutherland.  Initial suspects have long been interrogated; no charges laid and have gone on with their lives. That’s all fine and dandy, but we should not for the briefest of moments forget that the sodomizers still lurk in our midst walking, talking and stalking among us on a daily basis. Perhaps we do know the guilty parties, but perhaps we still harbour lingering doubts, as we cannot believe that they are of a certain sexual bent.
Again as the election vessel of change draws close to the shore, it is imperative that the populace, even up to and including young voters, all call on the political parties to openly state for the entire nation to hear and let it stand for the records, how they intend to address this scourge that is claiming the land – sodomy and indignity to a human corpse.  This issue of grave concern should not be allowed to bring up the rear (no pun intended) during campaign discussion.
The Quran speaks out against sodomy/homosexuality, clearly stating that those who practice are a people transgressing beyond bounds, and would have a shower of brimstone rained down on them.  On a diversionary note, the behaviour of the perverted attackers of these young citizens of unshaped minds, smacks of what in Guyanese vernacular can be called β€œadvantage takers”. Surely, these pre-adolescent youngsters are no match mentally, physically or even energetically for their attackers, hence they become easy, unsuspecting prey.
So to my fellow Guyanese, wherever you are near or far, travelling by road, boat or car, the issue must on the front burner be for each and everyone to see .Sodomy must be discussed as it affects all of us.
To tell the truth, not just the youth.

Statutory rape is a daily occurrence in Guyana and yet you and this woman would rather focus on what CONSENTING adults do!

I have learned one thing in life.  A very high % of Guyanese GIRLS (all races and social classes) have had some level of sexual abuse, often from UNCLES, family friends, or teachers.

So carry one with what CONSENTING ADULTS do.  That is more important.
