All Things Must Pass
Sunrise doesn't last all morning.
A cloudburst doesn't last all day.
Seems my love is up
And has left you with no warning.
It's not always been this gray.

All things must pass.
All things must pass away.

Sunset doesn't last all evening.
A mind can blow those clouds away.
After all this
My love is up and must be leaving.
It's not always been this gray.

All things must pass.
All things must pass away.

All things must pass.
None of life's dreams can last.
So, I must be on my way
To face another day

And darkness only stays at nighttime.
In the morning it will fade away.
Daylight is good
At arriving at the right time.
It's not always gonna be this gray.

All things must pass.
All things must pass away.

All things must pass.
All things must pass away.

My wife agrees!
cheers She's quite a dynamic lady. No wonder she raised such brilliant children, and keeps you in the straight and narrow. Wink Thanksgiving greetings to you and family.

I love Paul's song. The Beatles were the best.

I hear you. My old man died at 37.. I was 16. He wasn't around much but I got to know him better than the rest of my brothers during the last year of his life because he started taking me up in the bush... but it wasn't enough. Nowadays I remember details of those trips like they were yesterday... but... it is how it is.

The loss of a father is never easy. Losing yours that young had to have been devastating. My condolences.

I saw the movie in '77 and again last weekend on HBO. I really enjoyed this timeless classic which won an Oscar and many other awards. Ryan & Ali were so young, the fabulous '70s, the clothes they wore, etc. 'Love means never having to say you're sorry.' Smile
