The great Shiv Chanderpaul scored 68 runs(his 58th test fifty--he also has 25 test hundreds) in the 1st innings of the 3rd test against Australia in Dominica---his overall runs total is now 9986---he needs just 14 runs to become the 10th batsman in history to reach 10K runs in tests. There is one innings left for Shiv to bat in the current series.

There is already a street in Georgetown named after Shiv---the Shiv Chanderpaul Drive---once Shiv surpasses 10K---will they re-name the National Stadium---The Shiv Chanderpaul Stadium ?
