Looks like Ramotar beat the crook in his own game.  Here is Ramotar, Representative of the List, trump card.

When seats have, in pursuance of section 97, been allocated to any list of candidates- the representative of the list shall extract from the said list as many names belonging to candidates selected by him for the purpose, including his own name, as if he has not ben declared elected as President under article 177 of the Constitution as can be so extracted without their number exceeding the number of seats allocated to that list; and the Chief Election Officer shall declare such names, in the order of their extraction as aforesaid, to be the names of the candidates on such list who have been elected.

How de F is that gonna happen when 100pc of the PPP's Executive Committee and Central Committee is controlled by Jagdeo and his creatures?

Ramotar is going to use his power in parliament to destroy Jagdeo.  They cannot throw him out of the PPP.  And even if they did, they will have no voice in parliament since they are not on Ramotar's list.  Remember the list had 95 names.  Ramotar had his faction placed on the list to out maneuver Jagdeo.

Former Presidents, Bharrat Jagdeo (left) and Donald Ramotar.

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Former President, Donald Ramotar has confirmed that Bharrat Jagdeo will be the leader of the Opposition People’s Progressive Party.

Ramotar made the announcement at a press conference held at Freedom House this morning, where he said that this decision was taken as part of the transition to young leaders in the PPP.

Ramotar says he will remains a member of the PPP but he will not be running for office in the future unless something “dramatic” happens.

Ramotar has been struck off the PPP’s list of Parliamentarians, even though he is the immediate past president. Jagdeo on the other hand has always stated that he is not interested in being in Parliament or occupying any constitutional position.

iNews will provide more details from the press conference in a subsequent report.
