[www.inewsguyana.com] – President Donald Ramotar, in a recent interview in the United States has complained to foreign media of the uncooperative Parliament his government is faced with; describing it as a “nae nae nae” Parliament.

He said it is similar to the Congress President Barack Obama is made to endure, where almost all proposals by the Executive are met with rejection.

“It has become extremely difficult to pass legislation, not because it doesn’t make sense but because the Opposition seems determined to slow down or even stop the development of Guyana,” he said; adding that all developmental projects has been severely attacked from 2012 to date even as he recalled the cuts made to the National Budget over time.

Speaking to CaribNation TV in Washington D.C, the Guyanese Head of State, registered his frustration with the delay in passing the critical Anti – Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (Amendment) Bill.

The President, who travelled to the USA to attend and address the 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, used the opportunity to meet Guyanese living there.

He met the Guyanese community in Queens, New York on Friday evening and those in Washington on Saturday evening.Ramotar called on Guyanese living in U.S to return home and invest in the country’s booming economy.

The President said his government remains committed to continuing the transformation of Guyana , but needs the help of all Guyanese, since he does not have a development partner in the opposition; pointing to their anti-developmental stance since they won a one-seat majority in the National Assembly.

The President meanwhile, said his government has never denied there is corruption in the country, but pointed to the various efforts successive PPP/Civic administrations have been making to tackle this issue.

Those who attended are NOT GUYANESE. If they were, they would know the pains of the poor. The affluent has no obligations to the impoverished. Or Ramotar is just bare face to say, "no one objected to his repressive regime."

The way the PPP moans and groans, one would think other countries doan have minority governments. Many such governments in other parts of the world do a lot of good, bcz there is cooperation to make the government work..

President Ramotar understand that they're minority and majority government in many countries, but he is speaking from his heart on behalf of his own country, and recognizes the failure caused by a non-supportive opposition. Most of the failures are of national interest where the joint opposition protected their political agenda over love of country. Anyone can see what came of the national assembly since 2012 is an effort to kill any and everything the PPP proposed. Therefore, the president is absolutely right.

Some people see shit spattered on a wall and think it is great art. Those of us who sees the works of the PPP as an organization working desperately to thwart democracy in Guyana. And those of us who sees the PPP the best thing since sliced bread. I wonder what makes us think so differently. Is it compassion for the poor or disdain for them.

Bhai Nehru,

Most of these guys on this BB know that KN is the right arm of the AFC and would write nancy stories to prop AFC image. AFC members can be accused of murder and they will call for the investigation to be completed before they do anything. However, if a PPP member misspoke, they want that member to resign immediately. Remember Nigel, Trotman or Ramjattan have never done any wrong. They have hair growing on their almighty palms.

Nehru is a confusing individual and anyone thinking along the same lines as he, gotta be just as confused.

In one thread buddy Nehru says the govt made some stupid mistakes and they should have their knuckles rapped, he spoke against them, now in another thread he says the govt is the best ting for Guyana they mekin it sweet.

The man doan know the difference between a hole in the ground to his battyhole.
