It's great to see Sir Shridath Ramphal being cordial with President Donald Ramotar who happens to be ex-General Secretary of the PPP.

Years ago, in my presence, another ex-General Secretary Janet Jagan referred to Sir Shridath as a "twit", her exact word.

I suppose Sir Shridath is comfortable in his skin and would shrug off the word "twit", having been an internationally recognized public servant since the late 1950s when he served as Assistant Attorney General of the West Indies Federation with distinction, before Forbes Burnham begged him to return to Guyana and serve as Attorney General and before the prestigious Commonwealth made him Secretary-General.

IMHO, Ramotar is a twit alongside Ramphal.

You have no right to call our President a twit. You seem bitter and envious these days.

Here are the Chammar Twits and Losers. These two racists are ashamed to be associated and assembled with Afro Guyanese.

On the contrary, yuji and skelly, Gil is not bitter much less tormented. Being associated with politics for decades, Gil has learned something called detachment. Argue and fight without getting emotional. We can argue whether AFC is losing support in Berbice, but I maintain that Berbice alone is not Guyana.

And, yuji, I prefaced my description of Ramotar with "IMHO". My opinion is my opinion; it doesn't have to be fact. I'm entitled to my opinion.

This photo which yuji has posted was taken at the Georgetown Club where Sir Shridath Ramphal was promoting his latest book, Glimpses of a Global Life.

Sir Shridath gave Ramotar a signed copy of the book.

I just bought a Kindle edition of Sir Shridath's book on Amazon.ca for C$9.99.

Read Shridath Ramphal's latest book, Glimpses of a Global Life, as I'm doing right now. It may displace your obsession over my occupation and infuse some knowledge to enable you to contribute meaningfully to this forum.

Guyana is a very tolerant and free nation.

Ask Moses how the PNC bruk up his bones and threw him in jail when he protested during the dictatorship days of PNC's Burnham and Hoyte.

Traitor Moses now wants to merge the AFC with the PNC.
