The PPP will win Regions 2,3, 5 and 6.  Reqion 3 now has a larger population than does Region 6.  APNU AFC will win regions 4 and 10, and most likely 7.

The only mystery will be Regions 1, 8 and 9.  Dead bodies vote in Region 1 so I expect the PPP to win there.

BTW Region 4 is the prize as over 40% of the voters live there.

The question will be what % of votes does each party win within each region.  That will determine who the winner will be.

PPP controls Region 1 because of the tochaos and alleged rigging.  If APNU AFC scrutinizes this area, and campaigns, as they are doing, who knows.  Amerindians arent die hard PPP supporters.

8 is a small area with notoriously low turn out.  The AFC won last time becasue the UF candidate, who had previously won, defected to them.

I will give 1 to the PPP and 8 to the APNU AFC, but again who knows. Even Region 7 shouidnt be taken for granted.

Region 9 is the biggest mystery as it was traditionally a strong UF area, and then GAP came in.  They are probably the most politically sophisticated, so less likely to be bought.  Probably because they are only nominally "Guyanese", having stronger ties to Boa Vista than to G/town.  I suspect that they don't care thye slightest what the G/town based establishment does as they are more oriented to Brazil.

An additional fact of the interior is that more and more Coastlanders are moving in, bringing with them their attitudes.  A fair amount of Linden has probably shifted to Region 7.

they resurrected Nadir's daughter to run in specific regions and split the vote. Plus they have implanted lots of Chinese there. The AFC will win but it is an uphill trek.

The Chinese shouldnt be entitled to vote, as they are not Commonwealth citizens, and most have only been living in Guyana for a short period.

Of course I expect that many would have been illegally given ID cards, and ordered by their Chinese slave masters to vote PPP.

I dont know why Nadir's daughter would make a difference as last time traditional UF supporters abandoned them for APNU (region 9) and AFC (region 8).

No Sir.  The prize was Region 4.

This was a half seat election. One can point to almost anything and claim that was the cause. The fact is enough Indians switched sides for the AFC and some presumably stayed home in anger at the PPP.

The game changer was the anti-PPP Indian vote which was not really pro-AFC or pro-Moses. It was viciously anti-PPP.
