Police reportedly instructed to raid PPP MPs homes

The Police were allegedly instructed to raid the homes of Members of Parliament (MPs) of the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) to search for “incriminating materials”.

Citizens Report understands that senior functionaries of the Government have reportedly met with selected members of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) where the order was made.

This will not be a strange occurrence as many persons’ homes have already been unnecessarily raided and ransacked by lawmen under the instructions of the Government.

According to the former Attorney General, Mr. Mohabir Anil Nandlall in a social media post, the exercise seems to be an attempt to divert attention from the massive scandal in which the Government is embroiled, regarding the US$18M signing bonus and all the other issues which arose in Parliament, recently, that have caused a serious dent on the image of the Government.

Nandlall contended that this is simply political witch hunting and harassment

“With each passing day, we are reverting to those dreaded days of Burnhamism. To deny this reality is nothing short of a confession to blindness,” he stated.

Citizens report.

Ramjattan negotiated his position of public security minister to get back to the PPP and to jail them for corruptions. He further stated that he will get rid of all PPP parliamentarians, one at a time beginning with Rohee. Is this what playing with the police raid and to Juan Edghill in parliament?

Burnham used to do this shit!

Chief, when Guyanese will stop talking about what Burnham used to do, and start demonstrating what they will not tolerate? Isn't that a fair assessment?

If you allow someone to bully you and don' put a stopping to it, he will continue to bully you.

I guess I should start crying my guts out like everyone else and stop being practical in this situation.

I am sorry to say that Guyanese are good to commit suicides and waste precious lives rather than to sacrifice your life for the good of the country.

Ramjattan is full of talk; he is nothing but a two-bit lawyer whose track record is nothing to write home about. He and the other K-K-Hole were 'used' by Granger and are now considered 'dispensable'. If Ramjattan has balls, let us see him criticize Granger for the gross deviation from normal operating procedure. The whole world knows that Granger and his 'filth-heads' fully intended to practice PNC magic by making the US$18MM 'disappear' !

I do not see you heading back to Guyana to do something about this. Is this because you are not Guyanese, not Indo-Guyanese, or just a keyboard warrior, all froth and no action?

Perhaps I am a keyboard warrior, but I am not a PPP cry baby warrior. I was the same when I lived in Guyana. Its too late for me to go back and do anything. I know one thing for sure, the mistake that we're fighting about was supported by Indian that should never had happened. Abee coolie is paying for that mistake today. Let the ball for mercy.

This brought painful memories to my parents tonight on hearing of this .

My mom  remembers running with me as a baby through the back gate as police raid our home and arrested my dad back in Burnham days.

Obviously you are writing about yourself who used to be one of those ppp cry baby warrior. I remember only a few years ago how you slavishly supported the PPP on this site. If I had the inclination to, which I do not have,  I would copy some of your previous posts and repost them here.

So, now we know from the 'ass' mouth' that you are just froth.

Prior to 1992 countless acts of police intimidation and harassment failed to crush the PPP's fighting spirit. It will fail again and the PPP will triumph again, however long it takes.

Jagdeo said once that they cannot kill all of us. We should do like India to lay down and let the opposition beat us until we all die. The PPP doesn't have a fighting spirit.

In the late 70's, as a Radio Technician i was targeted by Burnham secret police. When visited i invited the individual to have a seat,we had a discussion about my profession,he said i thought i was into illegal activities, also was not afraid had contacts to back up.

I noticed the strange individual walking the street periodically for about a week.

PPP got kicked out in 1964 and remained in the wilderness for 28 years.  PNC fattened themselves stealing the best for their clan, educating their kids on the US etc.  They destroyed the fabric or Indian family sending large swathes desperately abroad by any means possible, partially cleansing the nation of “coolies”.

Then the PPP got their chance and did a half ass job with some getting super rich while many descended into abject poverty and many more saved by remittances.  Morality in tatters.

Now they got kicked out again by their own making and the PNC picked up where the left off and you say wait, abie goa triumph again!

Banna, how you define “triumph”.  But then again, fish tend to thrive best below zero.

You were one who for years screamed to see the back of Jagdeo, now you got it.  Stop pulling off a Michael Jackson, you are a pretentious fakester and backstabber and ashamed of the blow you dealt the Indians of Guyana.  Baseman was mixed on BJ but let him be there if it keeps the PPP in power.  Now that they are out, only then I call for leadership change.

Now deal with it and stop being a clown. There is no triumph for Indians, it’s been down hill since the days of the Jagans.

PNC is pushing for the final solution where Indians will be an  unmistaken minority and the PPP just a big pimple.

That is triumph for you, a witch’s brew!!

I am ignoring your provocation as highlighted.

REMINDER: Like me, you also supported the AFC even though for a short time. I made a mistake by supporting them and declared before your return here that I am back in the PPP fold.

Now, comrade, tell me how attacking a fellow PPP supporter will advance the cause of our party.

Baseman admittedly and actively campaigned for the AFC. Now that he was rightfully rejected by Jagdeo, he is like a sour grape. He reminds me of Grasshopper TK.

He showing his true colours. He will be singing Granger's tune now that a "Charitable" organization is collecting soup. Yuji knows a lot more than what he pretends to know.
