That's what happened at JFK the day my family & I migrated, March 12, 1977.  There was a heavy snowstorm, the plane couldn't land and kept circling overhead for an hour. We were getting scared.

why not..  bai dem been predicting this storm lang time now, flight should have been cancelled in advance....our governor declared a state of emergency one day in advance of the storm...y'all new Yorkers schupidy..
