Those folks are so stupid.

It would be better if they said that Lindeners were tired of the protests because they felt that the point had been made, that constructive discussions should begin, and to continue this would result in more economic hardship for a town that has already seen too much of this.

If they said this I would actually believe tham.

I can well believe that many Lindeners are indeed saying this.

What I know that they are not worrying about is whether the PPP survives this or not.

Since 'antiman' is your favorite word you should know that it takes an antiman to know another antiman.

More nonsense. 60 per cent of whites admit that racism against blacks exists. What does that mean in reality? They can admit what they want but does that prevent them from killing and harrassing blacks? What have YOU done about the Trayvon incident. How many websites did you visit and commented on about Trayvon? Post them.

What this means with respect to Trayvon is that protests by BOTH blacks and whites (and others) led to his killer being brought to trial.  What this means is that a conversation on race in the USA is considered a legitimate topic, while you in Guyana think that a similar conversation is nonsense and about spreading hate.  And unfortunately the govt of Guyana agrees with you as we see with this attempt at revenge against Nigel Huhes because he dared speak about the treatment of AfroGuyanese by the PPP.

You have refused to answer my questions which are relevant to this site which focuses on Guyana so you really are simple if you expect me to go and pot links to sites which I may have posted.

BTW I have done MORE than post. I have been DIRECTLY engaged in a variety of activities which I mentioned which aim at the empowerment of African American and Caribbean people living in NYC.

So continue to refuse to deal with the ethnically based  political polarization which has created even more chaos in Guyana.  Yes avoid that topic on a GUYANA forum. Were there not this ethnic distrust in Guyana this whole Linden issue would hjave evolved differently and would have been closer to resolution.

But ronald thinks that it is nonsense and hateful to demand that he respond to that when that issue is at the core of most of Guyana's problems.  But for that problem Guyana would have been teh second richest CARICOM nation just behind oil and gas rich T&T, and not ahead of only Haiti, with thousands of Guyanese fleeing to small islands for a decent life.

Now I can ask you about your actions when a BLACK UG student was killed by a cop several years ago when there was no proof of his guilt and the response of the PPP when UG students came out to protest.  But i wouldnt do so.  I do not care what you personally do or do not do.  What concerns me is your attempt to squash discussion of a key problem of Guyana and that is our ethnically polarised politics, that being a recipe for disaster.
