How many pushers were being caught inside Guyana by PPP admin compared with past 6 months?

These fellows owe the stadium money which brings me to another question; where in the world do you get stadiums to lease you space on trust? Every stadium that I know of needs you to buy the time upfront months in advance or you lose the slot.

If Jagdeo had to force coke out of his rectum at Miami airport, the hooligans will still be claiming that there is no evidence linking the PPP to drug trafficking.

Hits & Jams shows enabled Providence stadium to pay off India.

Now there is no Hits & Jam this will be another PPP fiasco, like Skeldon factory, Amaila Falls, Marriott Hotel, and the Berbice Bridge.

It is easy to sell as stadium. Guyanese like a spectacle...actually poor people live vicariously through spectacles. It is social validation they are alive.

That has been the underlying principle of the Jagdeo economic strategy. Allow them to wine up and down to forget their problems.

The PPP under Jagdeo will be relegated to a 45% party for a long time to come.

Biggest negatives from these guys is the complete lack of transparency, their inability to communicate, thereby ceding control over to Guyana Times, and their almost absence of a plan to revitalize what is a slowing economy.

Given that much of Guyana's economy is "underground" (money laundering, drug trafficking, undeclared gold, cash transaction which are hidden from view of the taxing authorities, etc.) it seems clear that there is reduced activity there.  Add the problems in sugar, rice, and gold and we have a problem.

THEN the politicians reward themselves with a 50% pay increase. WRONG TIMING.  Had they shown success in another 2-3 years THEN this would be merit worthy. But BEFORE they do anything, a pay increase.

If APNU/AFC do NOT trust their OWN leadership NOT to be corrupt, then why should the public?

Yes, I would have taken the same increase as public servants and in two years once the economy recovers take the 50%. Bad timing indeed...These things might be resulting from the President's excessive delegation of duties. You cannot run the govt as a military. Generals love to delegate. Guyana always move with extremes. They had an excessive micromanager in Jagdeo and now they get an excessive delegator in Granger.

Interesting observation.
