The time period chosen is meant to whitewash the orchestrated attacks against East Indians from mid to late 1990s to after the jailbreak. This was meant for driving them out of the country. One only needs to go back to that period and view the tapes of daily talk show hosts on Channel 9 to get a feel for the daily stereotyping of East Indians. That station was and is always connected to the PNC. Politicians were frequenting the East Coast villages and a few soldiers were kicking football. Gun salute was given at the funeral of one of their executed comrades. I have no problem with the investigation of drug cartel vs the freedom fighters. But don't try to whitewash our experience living through this political terrorism. It is also important that the PPP push for investigation into why the army did nothing and why this army has produced a regular stream of bandits. What kind of socialization are they getting in there?
