What you mean nothing for the mean, The National Budget 2012 present by Finance Minister, Dr. Ashni Singh addresses the concerns, challenges and needs of women, the government has purpose the expansion its Single Parent Assistance Programme to include Regions One and Seven where over 3000 single mothers and women would be the beneficiaries of such a social initiative that recognizes the pivotal role of women in Guyanese society.
This extended investment into the lives of Guyanese women is intended on providing training to 2,000 women in areas such as small business management, basic accounting, and self-improvement mainly to improve their capabilities and to afford them the opportunities to be able to source markets for production. In addition, under the Women of Worth programme, hundreds of single mothers accessed loans for investment in small businesses.
Moreover, the Guyana Women’s Leadership Institute has continued its work on empowering over 230 women through several capacity building programmes offered at the institute, including life skills and, for the first time, information technology. Also, the Single Parent programme under the Board of Industrial Training trained 423 parents in cosmetology, computer repairs, and electrical installation.
Such government initiative is a result of Guyana’s economic well being and provides the platform for the expansion of this social welfare to broaden the scope of its services, increasing the network of single parent and women all across Guyana.

Shame on you!

LOL!!! The Parasites Parasites Parasites/Cockroaches don't need my help to tarnish their image. They are doing a great job all by themselves.

Dem a watchme!!!!

Die hard AFC supporters can no longer sell snake oil. The civil servants broke their snake oil bottles. The sugar workers will teach them a serious lesson, it is only a matter of time.

All of the fabricated and unfounded claims about theft, none of which has been proven continues to be trumped up by the AFC. The public is fed up with the AFC and they now sound like a bunch of cry babies.

Until the AFC provide hard evidence, they are just trying to sell snake oil.

The AFC needs to go back to the drawing table and appoint a new leader before their tiny snake oil party is demolished.

Protest parties like the AFC do not last for long and their wheels are flying off very quickly right now. It would have been in the interest of the AFC to act responsibly in parliament.

Big brother PNC peed in their cup lately, now they have no friends but a few disgruntled supporters and some ex PNC members posting as AFC members.

Dem a watch you drink PNC pee, AFC.
