Noel a question was asked. How many people attemnded the meeting? You are gauging the PPPs declining popularity based on their need to bus peiople in to boost attendance.

The AFC should also be analyzed in terms ofg its ability to attracts crowds....especiallya sit cant afford to bus so those attended are at least interested in hearing what they have to say.

So how many people attended? The PPP will tell us so you might as well beat them to it.

300 people less than two montsh before the election in a town with almost 20,000 voters. A town which was not a strong PNC stronghold since the nationalized bauxite....Burnham teargassed them for their insolence...and Sam Hinds USED to be liked when he stood up to the PNC...of cours ehe sold out to the PPP so they dont like him any more.

So why only 300?

I read a DW report which estimated the Linden turnout at 130 and Buxton at 150.

This is early season & don't know how well advertised it was. The party did not bus/truck in invitees, and they were able to attract more Buxtonians than the PNC did at its town hall primary meeting.
As Jagdeo continues to squander PPP political capital, more voters will embrace the change Guyana so desperately needs--AFC!

55% == support for the PPP/C.

45% == support for PNCR, AFC and other parties.

Obviously, in some areas there will be a large gathering for the PPP/C or other parties.

You still peddling this myth? Try breaking out of that timewarp. Please.
