My appreciation

I thank sincerely, the many many individuals from inside and outside of Guyana, including my family (Father, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews, among others) PPP colleagues, Lawyers and friends ( from facebook fraternity and elsewhere) for their solidarity and support continuously but particularly over the last few weeks. Your care and coucern was a profound source of strength and motivation.

Those who know me can attest to my upbringing in a home with proper morals and values. I have always endeavored to lead a productive life as an honest, hardworking and decent individual. From the age of 13, I was already actively involved in making contributions to national development, specifically in the area of youth through clubs, scouts etc. I held some of the most prestigious positions as Champion Reader of the National Library Vacation Readers Club, Guyana’s First ever Youth Ambassador to CARICOM, President of Young People’s Movement, Member of the Georgetown Youth Leaders’ Council, Chairman of National Youth Parliament, Executive Director of Guyana Youth Development Association among many professional career responsibilities in the area of journalism / public relations and travelled extensively in representation of Guyana at seminars, conferences, exchange programs to near and far parts of the world.

I joined the political arena as a teenager convinced that it was an important avenue through which I can expand and sustain my contributions to the various facets of national development. I found comfort in the PPP family, as a party capable of allowing me to utilize my talents. Judging from the history of Guyana’s major political parties I thought the PPP represented the most genuine movement for multi-racialism; progression and leadership to unleash the socio-economic potential of Guyana…

Today I have no regrets about this choice. I Thank God for you all.

Yes this is the caliber of blacks who the PPP adores. Thugs who worked with the PNC thug element during the Burnham era, and then quite happy to be used by the PPP to commit violence against blacks.

We remember the violence by Kwame in 2011, when he ripped down APNU signs, and drove his car into a group of APNU supporters.

In fact reports are that he was the architect behind Jagdeo's racist rants against blacks in the last election.

Yes back to haunt yuji and his pals who have been trying to have GNI ban me since I began posting as guyanaj.

BTW the name changes came when I responded to certain folks who tried to block me, no doubt on orders of Freedom House.

They intimidated outspoken blacks living in Guyana during the Jagdeo/RK reign of terror. Even slaughtered one of them in cold blood, and threatened to do the same to others.  Not living in Guyana they couldn't do the same to me.

Now to the PPPs chagrin many PPP black soup lickers have now jumped ship, and are attempting to pound the PPP, pretending that they were APNU supporters all this time.

Well Buck man, what can I say.  I guess you missed your cassava pone today!!

Anyway, I don't think you understand my position regarding Scalia's statement.  I do not embrace any form of discrimination, period!!

I also don't [fully] agree with the allocation irregardless of aptitude.  I do agree that some wrongs had to be corrected.  However, I prefer it focused at the primary/secondary level and the best and brightest make in to the schools they deserve based on merit, not allocation.  On the other hand,  a short-term allocation to some top schools was in order, but this has long out-lived it's purpose and should be phased out!

I do believe if the Primary/Secondary level are fixed at the local level, Afros and everyone will be as competitive as anyone else.  That is my position, you can shoot me now for saying Blacks could be, and are, as competitive as Asians, Whites, etc!!

What a miserable piece of crap. Do you think your habit of being a racist bothers me? Hell no. I do not care to look in the sewer even though I know it exists. You are an intellectually stunted pig. That is pellucid to me and any with a keen intellect. BRW, there is no word like "irregardless" you dunce.

That should be flagged in english 101. Also, those we speak of  schools do not exist solely on alumni donations or student fees but are subsidized heavily by the state. They cannot be set asides for white elites alone but must allocate a proportion of seats for others whose tax base support them.

Also, the criteria for admission of students on any university campus can never covers the range of talents available.  We do not know what constitute intelligence or whether it constitute a plurality of skills we may term intelligence so the idea that we can come up with a finite test to select out smart people  always have a cut off point with built in cultural biases.

Further, the truly gifted often emerge only in the second year of school. Locking out talent by such incomplete measures misses many gifted people and the society is the poorer for it. This is why some elite schools have development programs  to avoid the conundrum( and law suits) of being designated a quota system and were they can take in the unusually talented students their normal screening system would miss.

They wish any black person who correctly assesses their attitude to be silenced.  They yearn for the day when they can intimidate blacks as they used.

The "moderate" APNU supporters are very vocal of the racism that they suffered under the PPP, and are determined that this will never happen to them again.

Do you think that APNU moderates are slaves, yearning to once again be slaves under an Indo dictatorship, as they were for at least 14 years (I wouldn't call Cheddi a dictator, though he also saw blacks as an inferior group).

, Guyana's history began in 1992 for all you clowns!!!

Now it began in 1957 when some racist Indian screamed "apan jhat" and Cheddi thought that it was a good idea.

History will indicate that when Burnham left, he carried with him several Indians (the ones who you will no doubt call "town collie" and other derogatory names).  He also knew that he had to win some Indian votes to have a chance to win.

It was Cheddi who thought that ALL he needed was the Indian vote, so Sydney King, who hated Burnham, so refused to leave with him, was forced to quit the PPP, when he saw that racist elements had taken over, and that the PPP had become the "coolie party" which Rohee boasted that it was lasted year, when he was asked about Jagdeo's comments.

Since when "dalit" is a pejorative? It was co opted for use by the Mahatma for a specific reason...to avoid the alternative which was in use.  I use the term to imply people who like where the come from, pre dalit label, to where they are now. Some like you are locked into casteism so you cannot help but revert to it as a crutch. No wonder you do now see me for who I am, you see buck piwari, cassava bread, cassari, cunamie, haiari, whatever....all words you think should are substitute for jungle bunny and a lesser than you label you are comfortable with to avoid dealing with what I said. Once again, dalit is Ghandi label for people designated outcastes. I use it similarly.

My first post here back in 2002 was greeted with a cuss down from one CaribJ.  That means he [Caribj] was here well before baseman!!

You will note that I included you, and the rest of your PPP racist buddies. Some of them were here before I was, even if they have changed their names since.

Your first post in 2002 focused on

1. Blacks in Guyana were savages like those in "Rawanda".

2.  Africans eat insects.

3. But for Indians Guyana would be like Haiti.

4. Blacks do nothing in Guyana but eat, sleep, party, and rob Indians.

Of course I had to beat you down when you came with that nonsense. In fact the reason why I began to post in GNI, not long before you in fact, was in response to the rampant anti black bigotry that was present here.

One bad post was when some one posted a picture of a Buxton kid, and began to scoff at how poor and ugly they were.  The whole board erupted with laughter with only D2 (now stormborn) cautioning people about this behavior.

In fact this continue, to the point where almost every black poster left in disgust, and some one reported that on his job this site was presented as being a "hate site", so was blocked.

This is a perfect example of history is being falsified by educated people like Caribj. Caribj is referring to the 2001/2002 period when Indians were being kidnapped and taken to the Gulf in Buxton and brutally murdered even after ransoms were paid. The African Freedom Fighters operated from the Gulf with the support of the many villagers and the People's National Congress in spreading terror from Buxton to Georgetown to the Courantyne where the PPP Congress was targeted and one young medical student from Essequibo was gunned down while traveling in a moving vehicle. The attackers thought President Jagdeo was in the vehicle. Jagdeo and other leaders were forced to hide the a Sugar Estate Compound during the attacks. Freddie Kissoon and Allan Fenty wrote about the biased attacks on the Indo Guyanese communities and terror that went with it. Caribj wants us to delete this truth from our memories and plead guilty to his charges of Indian Racism and Terror. We will not. RK came into the fray when the nation cried desperately for help when its security forces failed to respond to the terror.

From my fada Donald Rumtar and me MUDA Deolatchmie Raumtar and me sissy Liza Raumtar.  Great letter here Alexei ak Ms Bibi.

This is a perfect example of history is being falsified by educated people like Caribj.

This is the type of racism peddled by PPP racists.  Blacks were intimidated from the time that Jagdeo arrived on the scene to the time the PPP was booted out.

Their 2015 campaign was based on demonizing black people.

You don't like Caribny because he reminds you of this.  You do your best to silence me.  You probably thought that my banning would.

Sorry.  NOT HAPPENING!

Now continue to demonize blacks as thugs.  This is why Buxton people in NYC told Jagdeo that he is a "black hater".  The man was silenced, as he was in NYC, so couldn't send his goons to throw fecal matter in their faces, threaten them that they would lose their jobs, or have thugs call them and threaten to kill them.

Yes these are the things which happened, especially in the RK era, when people were afraid to speak on the phone.  I am talking about ordinary RETIREES who feared that Jagdeo would end their pensions, if they said something on the phone that he didn't like.

So continue to peddle your Indo racism!

There was a group of NY black Guyanese who communicated forcefully that they condemned the use of violence in politics and were offended by the unwillingness of entities in Guyana to deal with crime.

They blamed BOTH the PNC and the PPP. Aside from screaming that he hates Indians, you said NOTHING. You know that what he said was true, but like the PPP, you want to squelch all discussions on this topic.

In fact you blame blacks exclusively for racism in Guyana. Claim that what ever racism that Indians have towards blacks is the fault of blacks.

More intelligent people blame BOTH groups and claim that BOTH groups have suffered, but this, to you, is a racist statement.

Another piece of racist drivel by a bigot.  Continue to scream that blacks are all violent and reveal yourself to be the racist cur that you are.

And in fact blacks quietly state that the PPP picking Jagdeo is the only thing which has saved APNU/AFC.  It shows that the PPP fundamentally remains racist, hateful towards blacks and other non Indians, so it ensures that non Indians will remain stuck with APNU/AFC.

Now if Jagdeo wasn't such a racist by now the PPP might be attracting a look as many have become disillusioned with APNU/AFC, especially after they awarded themselves that pay increase.

With Indians tumbling in numbers, how do you think that the "coolie people party" is going to win another election?

Why dont you tell these people who I am so you can detail my trauma in real life and not stick to some crude hypothesis because that is what fits your belief system. Speaking to a cultural failure to rehabilitate a diseased condition is not hate. It is seeking to cure an illness. I am as Indian as you are or anyone here because that is where I grew up...in Indian culture by Indian parentage and in an Indian ethos.

Their emergence has shaped them no less than it has shaped Africans and the colonial scourging has left both people damage. Read Naipaul. His books center around the internal conflict of individuals who are unable to resolve a cultural dysfunction in a real world. Mr Biswas loves his cricket and take meticulous care of his bat but have no apprehensions of using the same to beat his wife.

You need to examine who we are and how you came to be and not live in imagined homelands and with imagined cultural clarity when you live in a world that maintains the social disease of yester year. Indian embrace of their racism against Africans is not wholesome. I do not lie when I say it exists in 70 percent of Indians at obscene and malignant levels. You know it because you see it if you live in Indian society every day.

Too bad for those who allows themselves to be influenced by the wicked blacks into believing that they have some culpability or guilt. We from Guyana and we know where the racism was practiced mostly. We owe no one any apology for maintaining that black people since the 60's have behaved in a racist manner toward every non-black Guyanese. People like Cribby can openly threaten violence against Guyanese people and their businesses just because they don't get their own way and some emasculated people just gladly oblige. And you cannot deny that the type of ethnic identity which many Indo Guyanese adopted is unique among the coastal peoples of Guyana.  Africans, mixed, Portuguese and Chinese focus on their "Guyaneseness", eith their ethnicity being secondary.

Most Indo Guyanese focus on their "Indianness" and its only encounters with Asian Indians, after migration to North America, has moderated that somewhat.

Portuguese Guyanese live a few hundred miles from Brazil and yet no real identification with them.

Afro Guyanese do NOT organize around "Africanness" except on Emancipation Day.  Even then its so clumsy that the continental Africans who live in Guyana find it either pathetic or hilarious, and I doubt that Afro Guyanese care as to what they would think on this.  That which is "African" among Afro Guyanese, exists within a "creole" context with no connection to any specific African ethnic group.

I am aggressive in dealing with those who bring racist attitudes towards blacks because I was extremely angry that a little black girl from Buxton, who might have her own range of problems, was HUMILIATED by grown men who screamed all sorts of KKK like anti black bigotry.

Before I was on GNI NO ONE here, including YOU, condemned anti black racism.

If push comes to shove I can find post from caribj or guyanaj that used that term. But you do use the term indoKKK and that is similar.

Rabid and Nuff was here before you and they were proactive in anti African commentary.

I do not concern myself with trying to cure racism. I am of the view I cannot and the people here is an example. My position is one can craft institutional barriers to racism. Racism is not one or the other disease. It is a communal illness. I leave others to cure it. I am concerned in ways to prevent it from crossing into the sociopolitical ethos and become a malignant and destroy the society. The cancer exists. I want to stop its spread.

Good luck.

As it is said, "nah going to happen."

Not until the Lord returns.

Good that you are willing to give it great efforts.

Racism is like breathing air. It is called racism, the connotation of a bad word. Really, it is the nature of mankind. The renowned men of contemporay times have been slighted to racial comments, Ghandhi, Churchill, Mandela and King.

You left the country too long to verify the respected, even in the olden days Indo Guyanese was respected by the PNC.

Dr. Shabudeen  crafted the bungled Guyana Constitution. The PNC knows with out Indo Guyanese support, they can't be in Gov't, so they have to show respect.

The PPP knows this so they carry on with the usual diatribe that the PNC disrespects Indo Guyanese.
