Actually, Green has much blame. There were years where they had unspent municipal funds.

Green encouraged vendors to poach on Regent Street store fronts and set up stalls, and so cluttering the streets and creating garbage.  When PPP wanted to clear up certain areas, Green told them not to move. The car parks especially Vendors Arcade area has people vending on the public walkways.

Green's wife did not pay her rates and taxes until Sooba forced her to do so.

However, we don't need to play these games anymore and the new Govt has inspired people to clean up.  We have to implement systems to stay clean.

While no one with sense advocates the incompetent, APNU has to be careful that it doesn't do what the PPP did and that is deliberately, or unwittingly exclude others because they aren't of the same tribe.

Inclusion must not only be done, but must be seen to be done, and no party in Guyana can win elections without cross ethnic support, even if it was just a sliver, as was the case this election.

I am also not of the opinion that the AFC will be of much help in the next election.  This will clearly be an APNU government and so will be credited or blamed for what it does.
