Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival opening ceremony took place at the iconic Gateway of India. This film festival is organised by Kiran Rao and Nita Ambani, which saw a bunch of Bollywood celebrities walking the red carpet.
The event was opened by Kalki Koechlin, who introduced the festival co â chair, Mrs. Neeta Mukesh Ambani, board members and prestigious jury. Honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis was the special guest of the evening.
Bollywood celebrities who walked the red carpet included Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Anupam Kher, Sidharth Malhotra, Huma Qureshi, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan and many more. They were all seen in glamorous gowns and suits. Diana Penty, a model turned actor was also a part of the event in a Nikhil Thampi creation whereas Katrina Kaif rocked in Anamika Khanna's indo-western outfit.
