You mean shotgun for trap shooting.  I stopped for a while, I need to get back into it.  They actually wrote an article on me in a national magazine in 2008 for trap shooting believe it or not   I had a very good year in 2008 and then things went downhill afterwards

there are very many professional Guyanese on LinkedIn.  I don't think they want to be associated with GNI.

I got some Guyanese links but am looking for more.  The idea about the "professional Guyanese" directory was to provide a database for the politicians in Guyana to have access to in case they need some advice on specialized topics.  For example, I wouldn't have mind giving advice on the Amaila falls project...basically, kinds of questions they should be asking on the project.

You can tell from the posts here who is likely to be on linked in and who is not...

One day last November, after a 19-minute phone chat with him, my former comrade Donald Ramotar invited me to join Linkedin. Then another Linkedin notice came from another oldtime comrade, Anan Boodram. Needless to say, I'm happy in my retirement and not enthused with any Linkedining.

Well it's not really a big deal.  It's not like you have conversations everyday.  Wouldn't you be happy to know if you have a question you could ask one of your links who has expertise in the area.  If the President of Guyana ask me to Link up with him I would do it in a second.  That's the best way I can contribute to Guyana at this time...and I am talking FREE service.  Guyanese tend to be too selfish and greedy.  I don't belong to that club.

VVP, all my adult life I've been donating free time and service, including 23 years voluntary service to the PPP. Even now, I am rendering services to APNU+AFC in Guyana and the NDP in Canada. I don't need Linkedin for that.
