Jagdeo urges welcoming hand for disgruntled AFC, APNU supporters ; Ramayya endorses PPP

That is Guyana's politics...PPP and PNC...and whatever so called third party there is

Very sad that they're using a solemn occasion as a political forum.

Cheddi Jagan was a politician.  Jagdeo is saying that is what Cheddi would have wanted.  For them to come back home.  Honoring Cheddi's wishes.

I understand that and we can only speculate what Jagan would have said. However, there is a time and place for everything. In my opinion, this wasn't the proper forum.

The problem is these "saints" admit they made mistakes but what have hey done to correct these so called mistakes? Nothing. They still enjoy the fruits of their "mistakes" while the rest of the population punish for the "mistakes" made. Why is the PPP hanging onto Jagdeo baffles me, is he the only person capable of running the party? Is everyone else in the party useless?

When the AFC went against what they originally were about and joined with APNU most of us were against that marriage but accepted it just to throw those thieves out of office. We now see there is no change in neither party. Too bad Benschop didn't make a run for office he might have done something, then again ??????

It's happening right here on GNI. We have seen the change of heart in less than two years. Some are still rubbing off the shame on their faces. 

I find it interesting that someone like Granger who barely has the IQ of an infant can fool the whole mass so easily.  Any idiot could have seen through that trap from a million miles away.

Glad to hear that Ramayya is going to campaign for the PPP. He will tear the AFC apart and expose the two biggest conmen, Moses and Ramjattan.

I have to break tradition and say that Dr. Ramayya did a Gilbakka stunt and endorsed the PPP. If there was another party, he would have endorsed that party, but there is none, so back to the PPP. These guys are going around in circles. I am betting on GR, TK, and the rest of the jumpers to do the same next election. After all, they were all children of the PPP.

Discontent among the population has been growing since the government saw it fitting to reward themselves with fat salary raises and deny working men and women a decent raise as promised in their elections campaign. Huge spending on luxury vehicles, diplomats, advisers, and contracts have drained the treasury. Increased taxation on the people and forcing drivers to pay for parking in Georgetown is now the most contentious issue.  Why would people want to keep this government in power?

What difference would it make, one thiefman replacing another. I would really like to see full disclosure by all politicians, their interest in and out of Guyana.With oil in the horizon it will almost be impossible for the PNC to lose the next election, the ABC countries put the PNC there and they will keep them there until the well run dry.
