First Ramjhattan complained about not getting enough seats in the LGE - Solja Bai claim he didn't know about it.

Secondly, BK gets appointed as Business Advisor in the MOTP(Ministry of the Presidency) - Solja Bai clain that he didn't know about his appointment ; Nagamootoo didn't know about it; Gasking didn't now about it;

Thirdly, alleged rapist Winston Harding gets canned as APNU/AFC candidate for LGE in G/T. Solja Bai did not know what his Minister of Social Cohesion Lawrence was doing.

Did this coalition throw out the principle of Collective Responsibily through the window?

Are these Ministers speaking with each other or do they lack communication skills? Do these Ministers have a speech impediment and if so they should be made Ministers within the Ministry responsible for Peoples with Disabilities? OR are they plain dummies?

Are these Ministers  doing their own thing?

If Solja Bai  and Moses don't know what is going on in their own government, how would they know what is going on in the country?

If Solja Bai and Moses can't manage their own Government Minsters then the question becomes are the Ministers managing Solja Bai and Moses?

What are your thoughts?

Could it be Viagra working? They vent their frustrations by showing each other who is more powerful? Maybe Soulja bai might rescind their Viagra allowance when he gets back.

Granger and Harmon are obviously close buddies. It is also obvious that Granger is a reasonable and gentlemanly person and can contain any excesses by subordinates. It is also obvious that Nagamootoo is a savvy politician and Ramjattan has more of an advocacy personna. The questions raised are not earth shattering and even the LGE seat issues can be contained. What remains to be seen is how much of a force the AFC is by being consumed in a coalition governing mode. A reformed PPP/C should be able to take advantage next cycle. The question is how much reform is needed?

My thoughts are that Granger is a more intelligent man than Jagdeo.  People will accept that running a coalition is tricky, and a mine field.

What people will respect is Granger's willingness to listen to people WITHIN APNU, and from the AFC, and reverse decisions made.

Jagdeo would instead jump up and scream, and threaten.  That is why the AFC refugees are NOT going back to him.

There are two aspects of the AFC.  What Granger will not tangle with is when those two factions are in agreement.

If Gaskin said he didn't know, then Granger is in trouble, because its the Trotman faction which he needs to ensure that the Nagamootoo faction don't think that they can play nice with the PPP, and end the coalition.

And no the AFC will not be a force within the coalition.  APNU will call the shots, and the AFC will scream when the pain is too much.  The degree to which both AFC factions scream in unison is the degree to which Granger will listen.

One thing out of this is that Harmon will probably be taken down a peg.  He alienates not only the AFC, and not only the anti Granger elements within the PNC, but even those friendly to Granger.  Harmon is being blamed for the many APNU missteps.

BTW its evident that Nagamootoo didn't win his 2011 Berbice vote.  If he was a factor then the coalition would have taken at least one of the 48 NDC's which the PPP won in 1994, and again in this past LGE.

One can argue as to whether the G/town Indo vote is there because of Nagamootoo, because this is where the PPP has lost.  In 1994 the PPP won 8 city council seats.  This year they won NO winner take all seats, and the 2 that they won were "top ups" under the PR formula.  Clearly the PPP lost the parts of G/town with larger Indian populations.

Kari, lots of reform needed they will have to attract the young Afro and mixed population to win, added to that who will be their Presidential Candidate. We are aware the Amerindians is the tie breaker, the next election APNU/AFC will get more votes from this group.

Kari doesn't think that the African/mixed population are a factor in Guyanese national elections.  Its Indians, and Indians only that will determine results, even though that population will be even smaller in 2020 than it is today.

But I agree.  No party in Guyana can win, based upon galvanizing a particular ethnic group.  So it will need to "neutralize" its ethnic image, and attempt to win a swing vote, the most obvious being the Amerindian.
