This is why Americans are hated. They are arrogant. These soldiers should be court martialed,
according to the Geneva convention
America is not hated because some stressed out soldiers who are also kids acted despicably. That is pure crap.

I mountain bike with a kid just back from the war, I think six months or so but I don't really know. He cannot ride well and falls a lot but he always got back on his bike and try the difficult patch that threw him over again or ask for us to show him how to do it. We always watched over him because we worry he may hurt himself.

One day he had a flat; actually a couple of tire blowouts so I volunteered to walk the seven miles or so out of the woods to the car. We got to talking and I told him I was rather perplexed why he came out on the hard trails when he needed a little more in the skill level. He told me that riding and especially when the terrain gets rough is what gets him through the memory of the constant fear in the battle field that he felt for two years. He says riding makes it go away. I do not understand it because the riding over rocks where the possibility of breaking a leg or worse exist is what makes me afraid.

You are valuing Americans from the wrong perspective. These are soldiers who are quite screwed up in the head from what they see and what they feel and obviously that give way to acts like this sometimes.
