i am sure if Henry Greene had said the things Seelall Persaud said in defense of those two animals masquerading as policemen u would be singing a different tune

oh wait, u would have interpreted any criticism of such as an attack on the PPP

THE five members who will be serving on the Police Service Commission were sworn in yesterday before Commander-in-Chief of Guyana’s armed forces His Excellency President Donald Ramotar at the Presidential Complex in Georgetown. The Commission will be headed by Omesh Satyanand who will serve as its Chairman while the other members are Lloyd Smith, Keith John, Harold Martin and Carvil Duncan.

4 out of 5 members are black, and I think they have to approve appointments, promotions.

If the coalition wins Seelall will be gone.  Granger made his point and the focus wil be on ridding Guyana of the PPP so a TORTURER will not be COP.

I suggest that you just admit that you are a PPP mole and a spy because your world view remains a PPP one.

Mr. Carib:

Some people have the ability to be objective and balanced.

My support for the Coalition, does not mean I will agree with everything they do.  Similarly, not everything the PPP does is evil.

You criticize when criticism is due, and praise when praise is due. We have to be seekers of truth based on facts, not follow the party line dogmatically.

My conclusion is that the PPP has failed miserably.  We have to give the Coalition a chance and support them.  Please go on line and give some money to the AFC or APNU. Show us some love, Brother.

A coalition implies open minds and compromises.  If some people think that the PPP has been racist against black people then you need to respect that fact, much as they need to respect what ever narrative you might have of the Burnham era.

I don't detect any respect from you for the fact that your devotion for the Cheddi PPP era isn't shared by all.

And BTW I have already given money.  You don't know me, and I don't wish to know you.

Just be warned that you are joining a group of people, many of whom have deep seat feelings about the PPP.  And not just the Jagdeo/Ramotar PPP, but also the Cheddi and Janet PPP.  Don't go to them about Cheddi being Guyana's Daddy, because you might not like the opinions that some of them have about Burnham.

Many Afro Guyanese don't like the idea of the Cheddi Jagan airport.  Don't demand that they view Cheddi as their Daddy.

PPP got a grant to fix the Justice System.  Where did the money go?  What did they fix?

The backlog of cases is very high.  What did the Chat3 do with that money?

Some years ago, I went to the New Amsterdam to get a copy of a transport. They did not have a copier to make copies.

Some lady (cleaner) took the original ledger out of the Registry (which is illegal), hang it on her bicycle and went downtown New Amsterdam to make copies. I was glad she did that ( I gave her a raise) but I was so speechless that a govt agency can operate like that.

And we are in the 21st century and these things are happening.  Yet they find money to build hotels and other kickback projects.  How will they make $$$ by providing copiers for the Registries?
