13 Develop a program to treat sex offences  seriously.

Form the reporting process to the subsequent examination and perserving of the chain of evidence to the trial, this crime is not taken seriously in our society by politicians and by the judicial system.

Clearly it is one of the assaults that produces the most lasting damage to an individual so it must be taken seriously.  There is a necessity for a general overhaul of the national approach to this problem. Politicians have turned a blind eye to it and so far it remains a prevalent and deadly disease in the society.

I am sure many of the suicides are hinged on sexual abuse. Note also by some estimates we have some 3000 girls, many of whom are under aged, are leaving school yearly because of pregnancies. How long can we tolerate this loss of human potential and the damage it does to the individual. Be serious about Rape. It is one of a society's most destructive crimes.

15 There must be full disclosure laws for politicians. On entering office, every office holder must declare their assets  and be up to date on their taxes. If they run a business ( even work at their profession as a lawyer etc) they must create a firewall between said business and their office. It may mean a complete cessation of participating in the business until they leave office.

One cannot work for the state and represent agencies or individuals intending to do business with the state. That is a clear conflict of interest.

16 Election Finance laws.

There should be no foreign entities donating to campaigns; local companies must be capped as to how much they can donate least they can be seen as buying office. Individuals also should have a cap. All collected money should be available for public review. Each campaign treasurer should present financial statements as quarterly periods defined by the state. No campaign should be deemed closed until all debts are settled.

Also used for the removal of dead persons, what a disgrace.

18 Set a minimum wage standard. It is careless and irresponsible to say one cares for workers when we have no legal minimum wage. We are slowly turning into a landscape of predators preying on the poor and unsuspecting who are forced to work and paid or not based on the whims of the employer. If any employer hire a guyanese they must meet the minimum standard of a set hourly wage.

We have to work hard to get out the vote.  Help to transport people to vote. Call up relatives in Guyana.  Make donations at the AFC website. Explain why the Coalition should be supported.  Help people understand that in the same way the PPP has changed from Jaganite to Jagdeoite Kleptos, that the  PNC changed from strategies that include violence to a moderate, restrained Party.  As Granger said, he is not Burnham but rather he is a forward thinking politician.

This habit has reduced infant mortality and made sure the mother, poor or rich gets a start in good child care practices. This is what they are currently getting from the PPP.

Instead of leaving no stone unturned to build hotels (Buddy's and Marriott), Guyana needs another hospital probably in the East Coast Demerara (Lusignan area) to reduce the pressures on the Georgetown Hospital.

One time recently, I visited a relative at the Men's Ward and was speechless for about 15 minutes as I look around.  The place looked worst than a homeless shelter.

At least these 2 ladies had a place to lie down.  In some cases, there is no availability.  Poor people can't afford private hospitals.

19  Emphasize Coffee and Coco production

Coffee is the worlds second most valuable commodity. We already have deep roots in the cultivation of coffee.People need to see the benefit of coffee if there was a national policy. Also, the biogas trapped in wet milling of coffee can also be turned into biogas rather than be discharged as environmental pollutant

Coco is also available to see wild by any who live in the riverain communities. We need to step up on the production of Coco for chocolate and the entire field of products derived from it.

21 Immediate moratorium on export of unfinished logs. The export or raw lumber  is a travesty. It simply plunders the forest and produces no local jobs. There should be a moratorium on Bullet wood Wamara. Any harvesting of these trees is to be for local production of finished products. Only products made by use of these lumber can leave Guyana.

22 The nation needs a National Emergency Agency.

This agency is to create regional warehouse of emergency supplies of food and shelter. It must also possess t he logistical ability to cover and deploy assistance across the nation rapidly. It must be aptly supplied with boats, ( especially air boats) heavy lift vehicles ( trucks and cranes) Well digging equipment, medicine etc. It is to be staffed by  Rotating volunteers of medical professional, as well as permanent ones as a branch of the  security forces ( as a part of a science and engineering core). It must however be under civilian command. It must be a cabinet position. It should be able to rapidly deploy to any region, install, triage, communications, shelter, provide clean water and food services in event of emergencies of all sorts ie floods, disease, earthquakes, forest fires.
