(CNN) They say they have no problem with refugees and they're not un-American. They just want to protect the US against terror attacks, and they think President Trump's travel ban is a good first step.

"I do feel safer," said Dotty Rhea, 68, a retiree from Savannah, Tennessee. "Nobody's angry with ... (immigrants), nobody hates them. We just need to protect ourselves."

Trump's executive order temporarily suspending refugees and banning immigrants from seven countries has sparked criticism and protests nationwide. But many Americans and members of Congress say they stand by the President's decision.

I doubt whether the people of Liberty avenue would feel safe with people like you roaming the neighbourhood.

I have been roaming RH neighborhood everyday and it's the same since you last visited. You should revisit sometime.

Your doubt is your personal opinion and it doesn't reflect on others.

I live in Richmond hill whenever I am in the USA. Trump couldnt stop me from coming in last weekend. My opinion is from direct observation . Many feel the same as i do.

I have nothing to do with your observation or where you live, sir. Stop by for a cup of coffee when you return to the Hill. Oh, bring your placard, too.

Why must we listen to Muslims and not Americans? Americans are not foot rugs for Muslims to wipe their feet on.

Prince bro, I desist from criticizing you for your views and opinions. Most refugees seek a better life for themselves and their families. As I was watching the news, it dawned to me that MAYBE, ONE DAY, THE SON OR DAUGHTER OF A MUSLIM REFUGEE MIGHT SACRIFICE HIS OR HER LIFE FOR ME OR MY COUNTRY. Should I still think that all Muslim refugees should be barred from migrating to America? Absolutely not. One of them might just save the lives of me and my family.
