This is certainly not new development as bragged by Mars. It is a temporary structure put together to accommodate 30K spectators for the 50th anniversary celebration while the Providence stadium would have been a better choice for celebration.

I am sure the overseas Guyanese visiting will notice the shoddy work of the PNC operatives. But they may overlook this as the govt already stated that it is a temporary structure. What is significant thought is that this was a waste of funds that could have gone to developing Durban park to the original plans under the PPP who failed to execute as the funds were blocked by the afc/pnc.
