I wish to extend a happy thanksgiving to all members on GNI. Tomorrow is a family day in America where we feast for all the fortunate things that happened in our lives. And some of the not so good things that we learned from. It's also a time we must remember the less fortunate and the homeless as winter approaching. For those of you who will be traveling, please be safe due to terror alerts.

Guyanese are lobbying Washington to have duck curry and dhall puri for thanksgiving and done away with Turkey. Obama may have to spare a duck life next year.
