I am expecting about 45 peeps in the next hour and most are coming from the Toronto area so I spent all morning cooking up a storm.

I am all done and ready for my guests.....so for about a half hour or so it will be .....the lull before the indoor storm!!

Hope your Saturday is as good as mine and even better!

That must have been some cooking! My Saturday was fantastic, VB. From your post, I am thinking that you had a grand time

Had an awesome time with the famo.....lots of little ones around....the littlest being 4weeks old!

Cham.....hubby planted our garlic since last fall!  all research suggest that fall is the best time to plant garlic!

all of my bulbs (flora ones) have now sprouted!

spring is here finally!!!

i picked an old thread to say HAPPY SATURDAY....

yes, Spring is in the air...(Alena reminded us)

snow is melting really fast...makes me happy

today i am attending an event which Hubby and I attended annually for over 15 yrs...we may have missed 1 or 2...it's a social event with a competition which he won twice...i have to wear his medals and take the old pics...plus a group of us carry the GY flag for the 'march past'

i ad turned down the invite but his pals are coming to get me.

Sad another member Zahra no longer in this world.  she passed away a few years ago was  a very good friend of Sabrina fellow nurse.

This thread was once written in happier times for some of us, spring comes around soon again but will the flowers ever be as bright.

Good morning all.

Ahhh it has been awhile since we had a Happy Saturday. I woke up to lots of sunshine and the birds singing from the tree outside my bedroom window.

I still have my Loto Max ticket to check, I can smeeellllll the $$$$$$ someone might win.

Think I will get some gardening done.

i feel like eating sardines with hot pepper and lots of onions. I have 1 roti left so I think that will be my breakfast.

I finish all my work. Now i am bored nothing to do rest of the day. Munching on chips and orange juice now while twiddling my fingers

I don't have a full time job and I am running out of time each day to get enjoyable things done. There are so much fun things to do around the house, that  I am afraid  I might not get it all done before the end comes.

Bhai, you betta generate some interest like hobby now, or you might do like some of my friends with a good pension : Weekly visit to the liquor store and nothing else.

The 'liquor store' is a matter of speaking of tremendous boredom, especially if you remain single.

Volunteer with things of interest. Years  later they pay for me to do enjoyable things in developing countries. Ontario is no different.

We all think of working, but seldom think what to do when we stop working fulltime.
