I strongly believe that such a decision will be a very good one. Moses as Presidential Candidate and Granger as PM for the PNC/KFC . Dat would seem like a FAIR fight.  Mark Benshop Independent Party and the other Independent Parties will also need to make strategic decisions as to who their PM Candidates will be . Election in Guyana is certainly Democratic NOW and it is refreshing to see such Political inclusion.

In my opinion, a coalition between the AFC and any other party takes away the AFC's loudest drumbeat and render them impotent. While they may not be stronger alone, they would have been more instrumental in aligning their activities with their preaching. But I do see Ramjattan's wit here because it offers to get the AFC the country's top post versus being no more than a spoiler when running as an independent. And as long as Guyana is deeply rooted in race based voting, this formula is good news for the PPP. The May 11th result will determine how much the Guyanese population has moved away from race to something more substantive.

The PNC is equally racist. Their support base is 90 Percent Afros. We cannot dismiss the fact that the PNC also plays the race card.

Sadly, this election will be race based. Moses and Rumjhaat is also part of the race card machinery. 

A young and independent minded Guyanese who carry no political or race baggage will bridge the gap. It will not happen this election but it may happen next election.
