The PPP regime is confident sugar will become sweeter again with the introduction of a new GuySuCo board? That's what Ramsammy said?

Well, who but the PPP regime made sugar bitter? Even in the PNC days, when the PPP/GAWU were champions of sugar workers, when arson in canefields was a form of protest, the sugar industry didn't descend to the level that exists now.

One PPP-appointed board after another failed to raise production and workers' morale. This new board ent different.

CBJ was in the pastures very long time, when his

party came to power, the country was heavily

indebted, seeking debt relief was the only way

to get the country moving foward.

Frugal live style was his choice, that did't

affect his vision for the development of

the country,unfortunately gone too early.

CBJ was no visionary history demonstrates quite the contrary. He was a major supporter of Burnham's efforts to nationalize private industry which has led Guyana down a path of economic ruin and destruction.

Jagan also supported the Burnham 1980 constitution. Many PPP soupies have a difficult time reconciling these facts. But they are just that facts.

Redux, history have taught us all the challenges of third

world countries,in Guyana political situation the people

need to look in future both the PPP and PNC find comfort

in the 1980 constitution, this is the reason Guyana need

a strong third party to force them in to changing some

of the clauses.

born in 1950's experienced the diffilculties.
