Do you think someone will kill Granger in public like they did Gandhi? I thought you would have picked Idi Amin. Granger and him look alike Brothers. The only problem was that Idi snatch all de food from Granger and that is why he was big and Granger looks like he hungry all the time. Don't insult the legacy of Bapu.

Are You Fo Real.
Granger cannot kiss the dust that Gandhi walks on.
A identical comparison is Idi Amin.

Riff, we have to refrain from this kinda comparison. It does no good to Granger or Gandhi. We must avoid regarding our presidents as demigods. Pandit Sharma of the Guyana Pandits Council had called Burnham a Mahatma. Moses Nagamootoo had said that Cheddi Jagan was the Mahatma Gandhi of Guyana. Such pronouncements were unwarranted. Political idol-worshiping is a bad thing.

Unfortunately a lot of PPP old timers still worship Burnham, even more so on GNI. The mere mention of his name instils a near godly like fear in them.
Comparing Granger to Mahatma Gandhi ?
Should I start by mentioning his role in the army ?
Participation in Rigged elections under Dictators Burnham Hoyte ?
Allegations of Berbice Ballot Box Murders ?
Allegations of rigging of his own leadership race in Linden ?
Rigging of the Last National Elections and refusing a recount ?
Someone must be smoking something.

Indeed. Gandhi was a racist of the highest order. But the white media of the time had not yet formulated the meaning of racism. So Gandhi continued unchallenged.

T, if you had one good thing to say about the PPP what would it be. Is there one person left in the PPP that you don't hate?
PPP = Communism
Gandhi was not a communist
PPP = Capitalism. Like build and invest - aka Berbice Bridge and Marriott. The PPP boys are business thinkers. They are the Moneymaking, good managing , job creation type of people. But hey - how did Communist China become one of the largest economies in the world?

How? He donating his mega salary increase to the people? Or he starting to spin his own cotton? I must have missed it.
